It often starts
with a complaint. A difficult day. A frustrating situation. A person who disappointed us. That is part of life. But if we stay there, something shifts. The complaint becomes blame. And blame has a way of keeping us exactly where we are. As long as someone else is responsible for our life, our happiness, or our future, we quietly give away our power to change it. There is nothing wrong with acknowledging that someone hurt you. Or that life has been unfair. But healing begins when we ask, 'What do I do from here?' That question moves us forward. Blame rarely does. It keeps us looking backward. Growth asks us to look ahead. Focus on growth.
