About Annica Johansson

Annica Johansson is an Artist, Art Life Coach, and certified Sound Healer based in Vancouver Island, although she was born in Stockholm, Sweden. Her lifelong passion for art and helping others has led her to her true path—healing people through energetic healing modalities such as sound and art therapy.
Annica has pursued extensive personal development through spiritual and healing workshops, sound healing retreats, shamanic healing sessions, and various programs with certified trainers. Since 2013, she has practiced pranic healing, crystal bowls, tuning forks, gongs, and sound therapy. As a lifelong learner, she continually updates her knowledge and skills.
Annica holds a Child and Youth Care degree from Vancouver Island University (VIU), where art therapy classes were part of her curriculum, and she is also a certified Life Skills Coach. She further explored her artistic side by studying Fine Arts for one year at VIU. In 2023, she completed a sound healing training certificate. That same year, she had a successful solo art exhibition at the White Rabbit, where she sold her art over a six-week period.
Annica’s passion is to bring healing to people who have experienced stress, anxiety, or depression. Through art life coaching, energy healing, and art therapy, she helps her clients find alternative and creative therapies to restore their natural well-being, allowing them to lead happy and healthy lives. Her straightforward and heart-centred approach creates a safe and creative environment for clients to reveal their most authentic selves.
Before devoting herself to her new vocation, Annica has been counselling veterans and individuals from all walks of life for the past fifteen years. She brings this experience into her healing sessions for a well-rounded approach to practical and spiritual healing. On Sunday mornings, Annica can usually be found at her kitchen table, listening to music and starting a new painting. Her passion for her family, friends, clients, veterans’ mental health awareness, and animal welfare is at the core of her values.
Annica wants to leave a legacy of a caring, creative, and strong woman who left the world a better place. In a heartfelt gesture, she contributed 24 paintings to Nanaimo Youth Services, a place where she had once been employed.
