Box mentality is a term that describes how our thinking patterns can trap us and how those patterns limit us from seeing the world as it truly is. The box mentality can be thought of as "seeing the world in squares and rectangles." It's when we perceive our environment through a limited view that prevents us from seeing other options or possibilities. We see things only one way, even though there are different ways to look at the same situation or problem. Boxes and rectangles are everywhere—in buildings, on the street, driving a square box, in our minds. They create the illusion that there are only certain ways things can be done, but there are always alternatives if we take a moment to think outside of them. But how do we truly change our thinking pattern? It can be hard to stand out in this world because everyone is doing the same things, wearing the same clothes and thinking the same way. This can make it difficult to achieve our goals and build our life. But if we want to be different from everyone else and achieve something great, we need to stop following the crowd, start thinking for ourselves, and live an independent life.
