You are compassionate, and that's something to be proud of. You care about the welfare of animals, and you want to make sure they're taken care of. However, it's important to be aware of your own feelings, and it's also crucial to use those feelings in productive ways. When you're feeling down about something or someone, sitting in that feeling forever can be tempting. You know that feeling—that sinking, heavy feeling that makes you feel like you'll never get up again.
It's okay to feel bad for someone else but not to sit in that lousy feeling forever. You don't have to make yourself suffer to help someone else.

Beautiful words that help us to observe and feel sadness more briefly so that higher lighter feeling and vibration can return. Thank you.
