In these times of ever-increasing chaos and tension, I've noticed a significant shift in how I approach my art and living space. The more crazy the world becomes, the more I'm drawn to simplicity and harmony in my environment (where I spend a lot of time). It's interesting that my patience for clutter and dull environments is almost zero.
I've been experimenting with the colours on my walls for a while, and being an artist, I have many paintings to choose from. It's so much fun changing the colour scheme. I'm exploring the idea of matching my coffee table to the new colours on the wall, creating a sense of flow throughout my space. Maybe it's my way of creating a visual narrative, a story that shifts and evolves with the times. I used to move a lot (restless soul, lol), but now I focus on creating an exciting environment where I live and work. I've absolutely needed clutter-free spaces, especially on tables and countertops. Decluttering my surroundings has become a metaphor for decluttering my mind. A clutter-free space allows my thoughts to flow freely. Further, creating a beautiful environment (without the hassle of moving) counterbalance the world's ongoing chaos.
