It's time to take action.
You have a life calling that is meant for YOU and no one else, and it's time to figure out what it is.
Life callings are often buried deep within us and obscured by other priorities. It's easy to lose sight of what we're meant for when we're busy with work, family, or other distractions. But you can't afford to wait any longer—you need to start taking steps today!
Here are a couple of steps you can take right now to start discovering your life calling:
1. Reflect on the things that make you happy and bring joy. What activities do you enjoy doing? What comes easy for you? What hobbies do you have? What kind of people do you like being around? Think about all these things when they come up in conversation with others—and then ask yourself how they relate to your life calling! I knew I would be a great counsellor since I was a teenager. I constantly counselled my friends. It was effortless for me, and I loved to listen and help others feel better.
2. Try something new (or old) that might help bring your life calling into focus. Maybe it's learning a new language, taking up painting as a hobby (even if you don't think it's good enough yet!), or becoming active in local politics—whatever it is, just make sure it's something you've always wanted to do but never found the time for.
Trust me when I say that trying something new can do wonders for your creativity and perspective. When trying something new, you actively look at the world from a different angle. You're seeing things in new ways and asking questions about why things are the way they are—and when that happens, unique ideas come out of nowhere!
Plus, there's no better way to figure out what direction is right for you than by trying different options. Try other things until one stick; then keep going from there!
