It's no secret that the health industry is booming. From the rise in homeopathic remedies to the explosion of CBD products, more and more people are looking for ways to improve their overall wellness. But how can you tell if a treatment is legitimate?
There are plenty of options out there, but they all have one thing in common: they're backed by science. Some of these treatments include sound therapy, light therapy, and something called neurofeedback. All of these treatments help to balance your body's systems so that it can heal itself—and they all work! Sound therapy uses music with specific frequencies to encourage healing; light therapy uses bright or coloured lights; and neurofeedback uses sensors on your head to measure brain activity and encourage healing in specific areas. Sound therapy is especially popular because it has been shown (through studies) that listening to certain types of music can aid in improving sleep quality and reducing stress levels as well as increasing energy levels! Light therapy works similarly—you can either use a special lamp or wear glasses with lenses that filter out harmful blue light from your environment (which is often emitted from computers).
