Human beings are conditioned to be happy based on the behavior of others. We are taught to be happy when we do good things, and we are taught to be sad when bad things happen. The result is that we become dependent on others to make us happy.
However, happiness should not depend on anything external. It depends solely on the individual who experiences it. You can make yourself happy by doing things that makes you feel good, whether or not anyone else approves.
You can also let go of expectations of how others should behave or treat you because they are responsible for their own actions, not yours. So try to bring your blessed self wherever you go.
