I've never been a yoga fan, but I'm willing to do anything to help me get a lighter day. Whatever we can do to bring some calmness into our day -- I am eager to try anything. So today, I tried some yoga cards. They're simple and don't require much more than a quiet place to lie down and some space. The cards include simple poses that focus on breathing and centering yourself. I noticed that my neck was crusty and needed significant stretching. And the open chest pose was also good, as I could feel my heart closed.
I found it relaxing, especially when I was focusing on my breath. Deep breathing helps in any situation! After doing some of the cards, I felt calmer and more centered than when I started. I even listened to healing sound music while doing them—it centered me even more.
